Exploring the Space Where Quantum Science Meets Art
What happens when quantum theory leaves the laboratory and enters the world of art?

That question came to life at the ASEAN Quantum Summit 2025 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, where CreativeLabTH Group was invited to exhibit “Miss, You My Mirror Dream,” a project by our affiliate, Quantum Art Thailand (QAT).
The summit brought together researchers, educators, policymakers, innovators, and creatives from across the ASEAN region to exchange ideas on the future of quantum technologies and their potential impact on society. Amid discussions of science and innovation, the exhibition space became a place where complex theories could be experienced through creativity and human emotion.
“Miss, You My Mirror Dream” explores the relationship between quantum theory and artistic expression. Rather than explaining quantum concepts through equations and technical language, the project invites visitors to experience them through reflection, imagination, and emotion. The work transforms abstract scientific ideas into something personal—encouraging audiences to interpret and connect with quantum concepts in their own way.

Our project was exhibited alongside “Lost in Fibration” by Nik Aimi Afiqa and Pak Shen Choong, an artwork inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Through the use of color theory and visual effects, the piece illustrates quantum concepts including the Hopf fibration of one qubit, the Pauli basis, and quantum superposition, offering visitors a visually engaging perspective on the unseen structures of quantum mechanics.
Beyond the artworks themselves, one of the most valuable aspects of the summit was the opportunity to meet people from different disciplines and backgrounds. Throughout the event, we had meaningful conversations with visitors, researchers, artists, and policymakers, exchanging perspectives on how science, art, and public engagement can intersect to make complex ideas more accessible.
We are grateful to the organizers of the ASEAN Quantum Summit 2025 for the invitation and for creating an environment that encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and open dialogue. Events like these remind us that innovation often happens at the intersection of different fields—and that art can play an important role in helping people imagine the possibilities of emerging technologies.
As we return home, we carry with us not only new connections and conversations, but also fresh inspiration for future projects that continue to bridge the worlds of science, creativity, and human experience.
